Creative Journaling Workshop with Susan Feller

Inspired by our current exhibition “Stories are Made, Loop by Loop,” join guest curator Susan Feller for a journaling workshop, sharing the therapeutic benefits of slowing down in order to spark creativity. All supplies will be provided and all experience levels are welcome, but children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult. Limited space available; advanced registration required. Questions? Feller is an artist and rughooker living in West Virginia. She uses fiber art to bring attention to the delicate balance between humanity’s need for progress and limited natural resources, showing the beauty of our region while asking viewers to think about their own impact on our environment. An advocate for the arts throughout Appalachia, Feller links past generations by networking, curating, and promoting makers assuring the craft of rughooking will continue into the future.
